Tall John's Wedding Venue

Your Day. Your Way.

Nestled amongst rolling Welsh hills, a stone’s throw from beautiful Llangorse Lake, sits the stunning Tall John’s House and our new blank canvas wedding venue in the Barn. We have completed our restorations of the beautiful stone barn and it is now a wonderful venue for weddings of up to 150 with integral toilets and catering area. This winter we are restoring our Granary to make an alternative civil ceremony venue or extra reception space so that we can be as flexible as possible to fit in with your dreams for your big day.

The barn is a blank canvas venue - it is yours to style as you wish, to create a space that is personal, individual and unique to you. We know every bride is different, every couple is unique and your wedding day should reflect that. To help you create the wedding day of your dreams we offer you the chance to make the barn your own - your friends, your family, your style. YOUR day, YOUR way.

About Tall John's House

People have been marrying from this house since 1588 and even before! The Manor House as we know it, was built, to celebrate the demise of the Spanish Armada. Standing alone, set in it’s beautiful grounds and looking out across the valley to the Black Mountains, we are blessed with a wonderful and unique position – no traffic noise, stunning night skies, privacy and tranquillity. Who could ask for more?
