Ceremony

For religious services:

We have the most attractive little church 1.5 miles away on the shores of Llangorse Lake. The present church is built on the site of an ancient Celtic church founded by St Gastyn in @AD450. The church was rebuilt in 1848 to 1851. The church has four bells, and Bell Ringing can often be arranged. St Gastyn’s, Llangasty holds maximum 100 people and is a very special place.

For a bigger wedding, St Paulinus’ Church in Llangorse, 4 miles away, can hold at least 200 people. The first reference to a church building is 1211. The present church was constructed in the 15th century; The church has a “weeping sanctuary”, Byfield organ, six bells and mass dial. The church registers date from 1692.

If you wish for a church wedding you need to contact the vicar yourselves to discuss.

For civil ceremonies:

We are licensed for civil ceremonies in the Manor House (up to 20 people), in our split-level Granary, in the Barn itself and in our charming gazebo in the gardens. A charge of £400 is made for a civil ceremony at Tall John’s Weddings (registrar’s fee is not included in this figure). This includes table and chairs for the ceremony. If the Granary is rented for the wedding, the rental fee for this includes our civil ceremony charge and also 80 chairs for the guests.
